Fuck yes. I have been dying for this day. Let’s burn this God damn system to the ground. Don’t need 50 million dollars to make and promote a movie. Don’t need an Oscar to say a film is good. Don’t need Harvey fucking Weinstein or any other assholes to tell me I can’t make a movie. Let’s reclaim film as an art form, and express ourselves through it, instead of selling our souls to make our films marketable as possible.. Let’s foster some INDEPENDENCE and creativity in the film industry for a change, instead of relying on sellout artists and greedy studios. Make a movie and show it to people. We don’t need this system. DIY or die.
